about charles
Charles Iwuc is an Austin-based songwriter, producer, and artist development specialist who first made waves with his pop/punk solo project Last Letters in 2016. Born out of a deep-rooted love for early 2000s punk rock and emo, Last Letters became Charles’s vehicle for heartfelt, hook-heavy storytelling—drawing inspiration from bands like blink-182, Jimmy Eat World, and Dashboard Confessional. His debut EP Nothing to Write Home About dropped later that year via Old Sport Records, introducing fans to a unique blend of upbeat melodies and melancholic lyrics written and recorded entirely from his home studio, Seagull Studios.
As his passion for songwriting evolved, so did his role in the music world. Charles now dedicates his time to working behind the scenes—recording emerging Austin acts through Fieldhouse and offering full-service artist development. From mixing, mastering, and co-writing songs to show booking and brand-building, Charles empowers rising talent to sharpen their voice and expand their reach, ensuring the artists he believes in can shine onstage while he works tirelessly behind it.
